Map to Jalama Beach

Jalama Creek is a perfect place to explore tidepools for starfish and sea anemones.

Bring a kayak and try kayak surfing or kayak fishing. You'll need a sport fishing license if you decide to go fishing.

There's a playground for the kids and a horseshoe pit if you're interested in playing.

Jalama Beach is a pristine habitat for all types of marine wildlife. You'll probably see dolphins or whales swimming just off-shore. Sea lions are likely to be sunning themselves along the coastline.

The scenery is stunning. This is a beautiful place to photograph nature at its finest. See what I mean by taking this virtual walk along Jalama Beach, south to Point Conception.

WARNING: Access to Point Conception is restricted. You WILL BE TRESPASSING on PRIVATE PROPERTY if you go all the way to the lighthouse, as the visitors in this video did. This area is patrolled and trespassing citations are issued.

Visitors are allowed to hike south ALONG THE BEACH only. Do not go inland up the cliff to the lighthouse. Please respect the property rights of others.
